Here you can read more about Chiwowy! Ever since I was able to hold a pencil, I was busy with drawing and crafting. Pets and all kinds of animals played a big role in my life. Creating characters and drawing my pets was something I really loved.

When I lived on my own for a number of years I was finally able to have my own dog! I went looking for all sorts of small companion breeds. And there she was; Penny, the most adorable long-haired chihuahua puppy. Usually puppies have floppy ears and stand up straight when they grow up. We often joked about how we actually hoped that they would stay that way, because she looked so cute. And funny thing was…. they did!

During the puppy time of Penny the idea of ​​Chiwowy came up; a chihuahua that is slightly different and capturing (illustrating) the things she and I experienced. Later there were more and more questions from other pet owners if I could draw their animal as I drew Penny.

And I really enjoy it!
